Try the "Polo FAQ, DIY And Info: Look Here First" sticky thread, you'll also find the search function handy.

        Welcome to the forum Sje88.

Dont be afraid to ask questions.... We will all give you extremely helpful information and we promise not to refer you to some search engine. However thats already been done ! Having said that, there are a couple threads at the moment regarding polo handling which you will find on the first page of the polo section.

Put simply, most people add a whiteline adjustable swaybar which costs a couple hundred dollars and you can fit yourself in under half an hour. This is by far the best addition if you want to keep a tight budget.
Next thing would be to get upgraded and lower springs which cost anywhere from 300-600 depending on which brand you choose.
I chose Eibach because they promise not to make the ride quality too harsh.

Or if you dont want to change the springs and want to keep the standard ride height but want better handling. Dont only upgrade the rear sway bar, upgrade the front swaybar aswell and get yourself a forge front upper strut brace.

One other thing, put a few more PSI in your tyres.

Before doing this, read this topic and make your own decision: http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/newf...ad.php?t=17339

May i recommend a proper front wheel alignment before you do anything. Mine was way out when the car was delivered new. Made the handling very disappointing until it was fixed.
