      Depends on what rev range...

If you back off above 6000rpm, it makes a short super high pitch scream...

Middle range 3000 to 6000 just sound like other jap car with it...

I fitted mine and no engine code... I think the ssqv will not release all in one go (ie sequential), hence it wont throw a code, but if you use other brand such as trust, it will throw a code as it dump all in 1 go... Just my guess, dont count my word on it...

only the small valve opens up on low boost, larger one stays closed... its a great bov the ssqv.

I have my Forge Splitter sitting around at home doing nothing no that I put the 007 on. It's missing the cap to make it full plumb back, and it has a couple of nicks and scratches on it, but it's there if anyone is looking at buying it.

I had a plumb back HKS SSQV on my Polo. It sounded awesome and because it self adjusts it made boost hold steady throughout the rev range.

Get 25mm adaptors from ebay and you will be fine. You may need to re clock the vac line input though (move it into a more practical position) but the instructions that come with the BOV clearly show you how to do it.

Have fun with it and post pics when you've installed it.
            Cheers,

            John

Looks like a copy to me.

I'd be very cautious at that price.

I'd be awfully careful if it is some cheap copy .... the trouble if it is crap it would have been worth getting a "legit" one, once you buy another. Anyway, good luck and hope it works for you.

for that money you can practically get a custom downpipe...

More growly exhaust tone and a little more power...

It is too cheap for a real one...

My bro got one of them and it leaks and casues car to stalk....

                              Dont risk it!

                                hey noone.

Thanks for the pm previously... I am still very undecided about the Down pipe. It is a very tempting mod! What does the exhaust sound like now with the down pipe? and what was the final cost with install?
