  • 5min Camera Mount! =)

Given its cold and wet in Sydney, I kept my lazy fat butt inside the house today. Bored because there's nothing to watch on the tele, I started my 3rd attempt to design a camera mount for the car! (the first two i aint skilled enough to make, or patiented enough!)

Just wanted to share with you guys this! Simply I used the top tray and put a wood there to secure the camera. Took just literally less then 5mins to make!! Here it is,the picture will do all the talking..

Here's a video of the first test run...

You've added wank factor and have to get more creative to mount a camera!

i've seen some people make a bracket that slips their headrest that works pretty well. its made from some thin strips of metal that have been bent and welded together (one strip over the top and a strip or two that goes around both sides), with a flat base that sticks out in front (obviously where the camera is mounted). if it is made quite well and fits snug, the camera does not move at all.

wouldn't be a 5 min job but would be good and not too hard to make i wouldn't imagine.

galston gorge near hornsby. not the best drive since it only lasts 5 minutes and the corners on the other side are too steep

I'm not a fan of the gorge. It's too tight with 90' turns... Was fun in a RWD though! lol
