I saw a pic of a Polo CUP with these rims for sale in the UK. Looks like it's sold becasue the pics have gone

I was trying to find some locally and there's a guy on a forum that gets them in cheap. http://www.aus-cartalk.com/viewtopic...a017709eef5070 Otherwise buy from Guy. They'll look sweet!

What put me off was the best looking ones are the most expensive.

Thank god for expensive taste... it puts most things out of reach and whatever I do get is awesome.

My train of thinkin was alittle different... I agree with you in the fact that the best lookin 1s are most expensive, but then I thought... where can I cut corners? I can eat 2 meals a day and save money this way 4 them...

Makin me starve/weigh less, and then get rims that weigh less, compounding the weight saving and equalling faster acceleration....

Actually thats our mate Jeff up here in Brisbane, we were looking at the MX5 club too, but they have access to really cheap Jap brands (like Enkai) and they generally only need 14" 15" & 16" (where as us big he man Polo owners could do with 17"!)

                The 14" ones are $365 & the 15" ones are $375 !

Jason, those 17"s should even clear your Alcon's if you can sort out a bracket!

Guy, you should put the Brembos you sell on a really good sale

Might encourage some people to get bigger rims... and me to get some good brakes

You can get Racing Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in 17x7.5 for a little over AU$1,400.

I been wanting these wheels for a while. There is also an Australian distributor based in Sydney. I have not yet gotten around to contacting XHP Wheels to get a quote.

I contacted http://www.customwheelsdirect.com/ and this is the reply e-mail they sent regarding postage:

                              Hello,

Thank you for the inquiry. Right now we have:

Pro Race 1.2 Black +38mm - In stock

Pro Race 1.2 Silver +38mm - In stock

The freight cost to Australia on a set of 4-17" wheels would be at $475.00 USD. We also have the complete installation complete with tuner lugnuts, socket adapter and valve stems for $65.00 extra.

For the freight, we can send by air-freight to your nearest international airport for pick-up at the terminal. For payment, we can only accept bank wire transfer on all orders outside the US. It usally takes about a few days for the bank wire to go through, and as soon as it does, we can ship the order. It's about 7-10 days after that to reach Australia.
