Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Hey guys, sold the Polo unfortunately Was great fun with the CC phase 2 etc but really needed something a bit bigger and a bit more refined to keep the wife happy...poor excuse I know. Anyway, bought an 08 335i M-Sport wagon, which ain't all bad . Have also acquired an 05 A3 2.0 fsi, so will still be poking around the forums for help on that one. Thanks to all those the have given me guidance with the Pog over the last year.

I've got an unused FMDV008 for sale if anyone's interested. AU$210 delivered (from NZ). Will offer it up in the classifieds forum if no one here wants to grab it. Cheers.

Happy new year to you too Gavin and thanks to you especially with the help you gave me with the Polo. Southern car? Too cryptic for this kiwi!

BMWs are made in Bavaria, way south of Wolfsburg.

Ah, I see...has a better ring to it than eastern car...in relation to Portugal

Just doing a little maintenence on the bimmer before I give it a tune and get those turbos humming...

Think the Audi will stay stock as just another car for the wife and or au pair to get around in...Haven't decided if she'll be of the eastern or southern variety yet...

Well, I might just be back into the 9n3 Gti fraternity! Have paid a small deposit on an 06 3 door, black. Completly impractical for my family of 5, bit it was too cheap for me to turn down. It's out of town so getting a car freak mate to check it over for me tomorrow and, all going well, it's mine!
