Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Have I installed this correctly? (kompact bov)

    Hey guys,

    I'm quite mechanically naive and was wondering if someone could tell me if I've installed my kompact bov the correct way, I mean there's not much room for error in not installing it correctly, it's either one way or the other. All seems to be going well so far, but I am a little paranoid. I followed the pdf instructions and tried to match it up with the stock DV but a second opinion from someone that actually knows what they're doing would be much appreciated!

        cheers guys, paranoia has now cleared haha, how hard/soft are you guys running your spring tension? I've had it from mid soft all the way up to hard and it seems to be the same through that range
