I chose silver, cos after my last 2 cars(Dark Green and Black respectively) I was having a gutfull if washing them, having them look awesome for 2 hours, then having them look bad till the next wash. Also, silver looks the dogs bollocks IMO, and along with black, it has the better resale value apparently.

Silver is the easiest to clean.

Haven't picked up my car yet, but I went with black -- Blah, blah blah, they get dirty quicker. No they don't, it's just that you see the dirt sooner. Doesn't mean it's any more dirty than a white car. I'm a clean freak anyway so I'm only too happy to give it a wash.

Whenever anyone in my family owned a white car, it was eventually written off in a crash -- four in total. So call me superstitious, but for me, white was never an option.

The weeks leading up to buying a car, every single Polo/Golf I saw on the road in my area was silver. That was enough for me to go with something else.

And the Polo just didn't do anything for me in red.

Why?
Looks the best, resale is best and I had every intention of getting leather to follow the red/black theme throughout.

Black, because as the salesman said "It's grouse!" Also, my polo likes to stalk bigger V8s at night.

Hahahahahah...so true...It is harder to do it when you car is silver, but it means the V8's can see your car easier as it takes off into the distance!!

I was tossing between red and white.

I got mine as 16000km second hand, so didn't have much choice, but there was red!!!

I wanted white for ages, then had one for a curtesy car. White Polo GTI with santa monica wheels. Liked it initially, then got sick of it pretty quickly after 3 days.

I like my red.

Would I get red again, if I were to buy it again?

I was tossing up between silver and black but seeing as my last car was silver and i liked it, i stuck with what i knew. Didn't want to get black as my brother has a black Clio.

Silver looks hot in my opinion

I got Red because I thought it matched up better with the red bit around the front grill.

I'm getting white (still waiting for the car to be sent from melbourne) because my last car was black and have vowed never to get another black car.

Plus i think the white and red look good together.
