Left Hand Side Gearbox Mount Including Dsg - Vibra-Technics Compliance Technology
Worked a treat. If you want to check it first I'd take the air box out and see how much you can jiggle the engine.

I changed the insert in my dog bone/lower engine mount first- as you've mentioned. I've tried a couple and settled on the softest Powerflex poly one. I've got the next level up one siting on my desk that you can have for a six-pack + postage. It does have a noticeable increase in in-cabin vibration.

thanks for your advice, will look into it and change it for good measure, the poly insert would be a great addition but the vibration would just drive me mad. Today car was running great no errors or wrx exhaust noise in the 40c heat. I can see why turbos hate the heat.

If I said today I raced a mark 7 gti and actually he couldn't catch me, I think perhaps I might have been pulling away, not sure if he started to give up, polo floored from 3rd gear would this be believable, he was stock and was very shocked and surprised. My guess would be from a stand still the golf would eat me with dsg, anyway happy with the car performance again in 40c heat

i believe ya the polos kicks ass i pulled on a evo wrx's v8s xr6t mps's im amazed at how well the polo goes just 1st gear and useless from take off i would prb lose to a lawnmower 2nd gear is where its at and 3rd gets alil scary need better shocks and brakes hehehe

btw your sig shows you have vibra technics engine mounts, how are they! vibration wise.

there perfect close to stock i would get them i only got the 2 mounts and have the superpro dogbone mount blew the first one and the 2nd is abit crappy kinda wish i got the vibra technics dog bone mount

For anyone interested, I got a video of mine earlier in the year when one of my coilpacks failed. If you listen and look closely you can see it not boosting passed 8psi and sounding like a wrx.

Just thought I'll update, car is running great no problems, just waiting for engine and dog bone mounts to arrive, a xmas job for sure.

One thing that did stand out in the traffic today was the car while in neutral waiting at the lights, all of a sudden the revs just started to go up all by themselves to about 1500rpm while not touching the accelerator for a few secs say 5 sec max then it dropped to the normal 700rpm.

Anyone know why it did this, its happened twice now in the past week! no error codes or cel reported

Also I have put the drop in K & N back in no error codes to date 32 bank reading -1.1 -2.3

Radiator fans cutting in probably, a pretty extreme increase but I wouldn't be worried.
