I like how the boost gauge hides away. Did you have to modify the base panel to make room for the gauge when the lid is shut?

The cutout I made is about 6cm wide from the edge.
I also hooked up the power to the dimmer switch next to the headlight switch (light blue wire). Seems to range between 12V and 5 V2006 Polo GTI

agreed, hidden boost gauge looks great! KMs are getting up now as well i see, 185k
2016 MY17 Polo GTI with DA package. TMD fitted + Weather strip and Snow Screen removed otherwise dead standard.
