Does anyone know any dealers in Sydney that will fit an aftermarket ecu flash/chip and exhaust whilst keeping the factory warranty? I'd prefer to have it done at the dealer so as not to upset them if anything were to go wrong with the car during its warranty period.

Now comes the hard choice on colour and options

Leather is awesome, I totally recommend it. Basically transforms it into a small prestige car rather than just a high-quality small car.

Colour depends on what you want it for. If you would like to lose as much resale value as possible, choose blue

I have a flash red no sun roof or leather i also like white i always stay away from
metallics they scratch and go dull over time red or white can be given a wax and
like new.I don,t know about mods i bought my gti off pat Bennett at sutherland vw dont buy off denlo parramatta i found the guy there was up him self.

Go silver, white or black. Studies have proved that both silver and black have better resale values of any other colour, silver looks awesome even after a few weeks unwashed(better for you guys down south), and black looks awesome after a good tub, whit is a good solid colour too. Red, I have found, is just too labour intensive to keep, and fades out too soon compared to any other colour(In my Opinoin, but that usually dosn't count for ****).
I'm not too sure if VW will cover an ECU reflash even if you get it done through a dealer, but the Ottinger tune looks like your safest option in regards to insurance and warrenty to your car.

yeah i went to denlo parramatta too, they basically told me to come back during the week because they were too busy..
I ended up going with barloworld mascot..

ditto... denlo had terrible service in my experience. the saleswomen rang me up and made me an appointment. then after turning up i had to wait an hour to see her

Might have to pop in there on Saturday if the wether is a bit nicer and take a demo for a wrap as i only live 10 minutes from there

I bought mine from Denlo and had a nice test drive on a Saturday. Came back the next day with the misses at the time to show her. The salesperson from the day before saw me coming and instantly chucked me the keys with the words... "Don't be too long" lol. IMO that was good customer service after about 20 mins of solo action I came back and signed up.

Hopefully they are as trusting at Barloworld.I probably dont fit the VW buyer profile

i did a test drive at barloworld and they wouldnt let me take it alone..i dont know why..but denlo was great.. i bought mine from there too..i get it tomorrow yipeee =)
