i installed mine without removing the front bar. the sides left and right grills just pop out. the middle i just cut in a few places using garden snips, then pulled it out. its not like i was going to use the old one again.Originally posted by MACCAA View PostComment

For those that have installed the kit, with the drivers side front section, the original had a duct that goes into the smic that doesn't clip onto the new honeycomb part. Is anyone still using that duct? If not, will it be a problem getting air into the smic? Are there anything down there that needs protection of the duct from stones/water? I have been running the car for about a month now without it, and it seems okay, but just curious.sigpic
