Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hello

    I have the following for sales. It's a set of lower honeycomb grill for the Polo GTI. Replaces the factory OEM grill, with the one that is more suited, and should have came with the car in the first place. All new.

    Available:

    Pick up is avaliable from Sydney till the 26th of June 2008, then it's pickup avaliable from Moorrabbin. Everywhere else, I'll have to post it to you.

    Hey Brissy guys what do we think about getting all these just delivered to one address to save postage etc and just pick them up from there?

      No-one's answered whether this is for the full set of 3 or just the middle grill that they sell.

      Surely it'd be cheaper for just the middle, could a mix be included in the group buy? I'm interested if you can get just the lower bit.

      And yes jasn78, that'd be a good way to do it.

        yeah i would be interested in just getting the middle section as well. can you find out the story on that?

          I'm also only after the middle bit since my side grills have been modified for the fmic pipes. But if it comes as a set I don't mind.

            It's available on the same site as just the middle bit, surely a mix wouldn't be too hard to organise. Would boost the numbers.

                    Update - 29th May

                    Ok. Just fired off an email to the bloke in regards to some having just the centre piece, and the cost of that. So, I'll let you guys know what he says.

                    Also, I asked him in regards to the postage to a more realistic number at this stage of 10-12 people, and see how that'll affect the cost.

                          Hey guys, what exactly are you guys buying? which part of the grill? i wouldnt mind changing the lower ones but the centre one i am happy with so far.

                              We are buying the lower part of the grill, where at the moment, it's not a honeycomb style. The new one is! So, style of like the golf GTI.
