yeah, they didn't/will never sell that here. the VW cross polo. it's pretty cool. only comes in diesel though.

it's pretty similar conceptually to the mk2 golf country.

How could we tell from the outside? I understood it was just a cosmetic fitout.

But reports are 2010 CrossPolo will have 4motion.

BTW had another go at coming home mode - still doesn't work.

Maybe you just didn't tick the right options....

The 'Follow Me Home' is there, I know, cos it was on the other night when I left the blinker on in the car and took the keys out, and the left side park light was on.

This isn't 'Follow Me Home'.. This is a safety feature for when you are parking on those tight dark european roads... If you leave the indicator on the parkers (front and back) will stay on on the same side to indicate the presence of your car

I have used this a couple of times when parking around spring hill, valley etc. in Brisbane when the road looks a little tight
