  • Recent flash tune, then CEL?

Fellas, had my car flashed yesterday to remove the SAI from the system. No more dash lights, yay!

Half an hour later though, and the CEL had returned. A quick scan with vag-com showed up about 5 errors, all relating to

    '01314, No signal/communication - intermittent.

These are in Engine, ABS brakes, Cent. Electrics, Instruments, CAN gateway, and Steering Assist.

Frustratingly, it's still looking for the SAI too

What the eff do I do now?

Well, it's simple, take it back to the shop who flashed it.

When we do the SAI, it doesn't stop looking for it. The incorrect flow doesn't put the light on.

If you have made note of the faults then clear them and drive it again.

Then go back to the fellas that flashed it, if the light persists.

Talk to the person that flashed your car?

Yeah, went back and they scanned the Engine only, ignoring the other half of my sentence about the rest of the faults which could obviously lead to a bigger picture.

Is there anything I can check myself?
