How is it that when my car is up on the hoist and when I spin one wheel the other moves with it in the same direction - LSD? I hope so. Is there any circumstance I'm missing where a single spinner won't have the opposite wheel turning the other way that I'm missing?

More than likely it's evidence of the friction between the differential gears. Hold one wheel and have an assistant turn the other, in neutral of course, and see what happens. -
So a tight open diff then. Never seen that before atleast not with my RWD cars. Bugger! I was beginning to hope that the unassuming retiree that I bought the car from had withheld a few secrets about its past.Comment
