Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

There are very few 'tuners'. What you get is someone load software onto your ECU. What Gav does is send you a spare, you send him yours and you get a returned ECU with the new code.

Many of us recomend Gav and CC from experience, price and performance is definitely there as well.

I'd be straight on with that option but he is looking for Phase 2, which needs reliable logging and tweaking with Custom Settings.

If someone puts their hand up to help we could go that route.

APR will see you at either Buik Motorworks (Richmond) or German Auto (Edwardstown)
            Cheap, Fast, Reliable. Choose two.

I would suggest German Auto at Edwardstown for APR - I can't speak from a tuning perspective but they have been great in servicing my VAG cars for the last 6 years or so. They know their stuff!
