I'm guessing your relatives are familiar with nissans... 200sx's and skyline turbo failures are not uncommon. They run a ceramic turbine that are known to fail with increased boost/heat. If you/friends are familiar with jap cars, you can't run a blow off valve on these, needs to be plumb back, they won't run.

VW's are more susceptable to bush failures/short life span, e.g lower control arm, engine mounts, suspension strut tops. They use a soft rubber that deteriorates. Mechanically they are typically very solid engines.

The silver was nice but the dealer wouldn't budge on price, picked up the black one today for 9200 was a good buy. Interior immaculate but the front bumper needs work if u wanna be picky. Now time to have some fun and get my sound system in there hopefully next w.e

Where's the best place to buy

                  Black vw logos
                  Keys
                  And wheel badges

Keys can be a major hassle.

Can always plasti dip the badges. Works well, I did all badges, and my rims. Have removed it all since then and was as easy to pull off as it was to put on

100% DIY. It's basically a rubberised paint that you can spray onto just about anything but once you want to remove it, you can by pulling it off. Youtube it, there's 100's of videos on people applying/removing it and explaining how it works. My only tip would be making sure whatever your painting is clean before and apply enough coats (the more you do, the easier it us for when removing it)
