Let's talk suspension... [Opinions/Reviews/Chit-Chat]

I had the original AP's, they were too hard for normal roads. The newer versions seem to be better (see UK Polo site for reviews).

I'd still get Weitec's if they can be had for ~$800 landed, I've not tried the FK's, but the adjustable ones would be nice to play with and there were a few positive reviews.

I was told by the KW distributors that they weren't doing weitec anymore. I get the impression that ST suspension by KW is now just weitec rebadged. Anyone heard similar. I'd been looking at the weitec ultra GT spring/damper kit mostly because of the company's decent reputation and a good price, but when I was on the point of getting them I was told they could only source the last ones available and that they wouldn't be getting them anymore. Needless to say I then hesitated.. Can ST's be sourced in Australia?

AP and Weitec supposedly come out of the same factory as KW. I don't know about ST, but its all a rumor mill, so unless there is reason to believe, it does not mean much.

I go on reviews, coming from the KW factory does not mean its KW quality, if it gets good reviews, then all good.

I spoke to KW and they said that the normal strut/spring style ST suspension kit is rebadged KW sport gear - not weitec.
