Just wanted to make sure I'm not sitting it on a weak part of the sill... Does this look okay?

Jackstands should go under suspension mount points or chassis rails, etc - not really under the sill.

That photo just doesn't look right

Should be under that dirty red lip.

You will see or feel an indent on the sill panel and the stand should be placed inboard on the 3 layer metal ridge, the problem is the jacking point which can be on the suspension or sub frame.

All good. Ended up working perfectly. I've been told before to use the sill for jack / jack stands. I just wanted to see if they should be sat that far back
