I can't get over how expensive plates are in other states...I only had a one off payment of $140. Its pretty good, but I have to contend with NT drivers...Nearly got taken out at a roundabout today the same way I got nailed the other week...

HAHAHAHAHAHA...We don't have as many cool combinations as you guys in QLD, but we have a few, http://www.nt.gov.au/transport/mvr/r.../ibformr01.pdf, and we get 7 letters...But I just got the black on white slim lines, cos they are like me...simple They do the job though, and have no yearly fee.

Went through several letter combinations and clever ideas but finally decided on this. Does exactly what it says on the tin!

The Green T4 has WEDEL.1
The Polo has WEDEL.3 Wedel is a Suburb/Town downstream from Hamburg. My Parents met there after the War, were married there and my sister was born there. My Mother chose this plate from examples I provided after we bought the T4 Transporter. White on red is also significant as it is the colours of Hamburg.
The trailer will soon be WEDEL.2

I was speaking to govt today about personalised plates for my new S3, and theyve advised theyve recently changed the law, and we can no longer have proprietary names, for example Audi, for copyright reasons.

that certainly puts a limit on ideas.
