Hey Guys,
Finally, i have recieved my 2008 Flash red polo GTI,
have been watching this forum since october (which has kept me sane) and finally recieved delivery today.
the car is awesome, its WAY better than what i remember of the test drive, (maybe because i own it now i feel that way lol)
I bought it through Albany VW, the sales team were absolutely fantastic.
I had signed a contract in december, for 28,500, when i picked up the car they told me that there was free on roads(which i knew, but had resigned myself to pay that amount) for jan/feb delivery. when i went in today they told me that i dont have to pay on roads and that i would get a cheque in the mail.
I have moved from Albany where i ordered the GTI, had to drive down there 3.5 hrs to get it but buying there locally was so worth it.
The Owner of VW rocked up and told me that my polo GTI was the first one he has sold, and that he appreciated that i bought local.
he then procedded to give me his mobile number and any issues with the car to give him a call, He would get them fixed buddy.
But most of all, the REAL reason why im so happy about buying my GTI, was it was delivered on saturday (aparrently Doughnut day) where they litterally stuffed every customer, staff, police officers and Hobos with doughnuts

. but hey, who am i to talk, i've had mine since december and still make up stupid reasons to the girlfriend so i can get behind the wheel....hehehe
