Hi all.
Was hoping someone could help out with something fairly simple. I had a stereo installed years ago and am going through the process of upgrading it. I've since found out that the stock stereo plug was cut out, and the headunit was wired in directly
What I wanted to do was:
- Get a new plug, guessing its an iso adapter or something and should be able to get a replacement fairly easily?
- Get a photo of a factory plug for the wiring colors
- Using the above two, then get an auto electrician to fix it if its more complicated than basic soldering.
I've already got a converter plug as mentioned in the stereo threads here so I can go headunit -> converter -> car factory plug so if I can get the above, all should be well
