Hey Folks....
My car came installed with a boost gauge.... But it's a supercheapauto drift gauge, and I really don't like how inaccurate it is....
I've settled on getting a replacement, I want the newsouth performance gauges in indigo, but I'm confused about putting together what I actually need to buy.
To start off I want the Oil Pressure Gauge, Oil Temp Gauge and Boost Gauge, along with the three panel din so I can place them above my radio....
The problem? I'm getting hell confused with everyone's different opinions across different websites.
1. the oil pressure comes in 2 formats, 10mm sender and 1/8", I have no idea which one I need
2. I will need the filterport because I'm trying to run 2 oil related gauges, but can't find anywhere that says this fits our polo without any problems... (I took a look when I did the last service and it looks like it MIGHT hit the radiator, but not sure?)
3. I might be able to avoid getting a filter port by running one off a plug on the top of the oil filter housing? unsure if this is correct, and I can run another on the Exhaust Side which I can get installed if I look into getting the TIP changed at the same time? (can't find the thread I got the information off....)
4. Does the newsouth din fit our polo?
I've contacted awesomegti and another reseller, but I haven't tried contacting newsouth yet... I'm still new to the world of VAG, and get easily confused with comparing our polo to mk5 golf gti's and how to look for things that will fit our car that fit other 1.8T's etc...
