Hitachi Ignition Coils

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if this aftermarket Hitachi Ignition Coils fit in our Polo 9N3
Volkswagen Golf IV 1.8T > Engine > Ignition > ES#7536 Coil Pack Ignition Solution - Stage I - 06A998000

Nothing wrong with functioning Standard coilpacks. I had one of these fail on my S3 not so long ago. I wouldn't fit these myself.

Thanks for the heads-up. This means I would go for original coils instead. While waiting for used ECU, my car currently is just in a state of wrecks

- Erratic idling after fitting in FT TIP and 3" MAF cover with stg1+ tune.
- EPC lights up and causing throttle to be partially functional
- Aircond starts blowing hot air again after 1 week of replacing the entire system

Thoughts gathering all the parts to sort out the car once and for all haha

3 inch MAF will cause you dramas, it will report the wrong airflow and lean fuelling. Stick the std one back in and it'll run better I am sure.

If you scan the ECU fault codes and google them, you will have a better chance of a smooth run.

EDIT, There's a recall for Polo coilpacks. Call VW and see if you can get some.

Bin that TIP. VW Polo 1 8T AND Ibiza FR MK4 Turbo Induction Intake Pipe Silicone Hose | eBay buy this and a 3 inch aluminium MAF housing.

Just needs the first layer of silicon slicing out carefully with a bl;ade

Thanks mate. It's super cheap compared to Forge ones. Actually I'm waiting for custom TIP from Anthony...
