To be honest, the tex is soooo big, if he asked the Q in his own region or in the 1.8T forum he might find someone that will answer his queries. Don't be so dismissive of the largest VW site out there just cause you don't like the one area. The fact that all the chipped Polo GTI's in this forum are done so by a big tuner company means we prob wont have the answers.

when I ask for the programme for load(psi)on low and medium rpm or advancing the timing,the car feels as though its cutting out,(limp mode?)....and we cant find the cut out(?) on the high rpms,(5500-6000)it does the cut out again and shuts off.

the problem is not the boost its the "load"(you can view this on VAGCOM)so when you raise the load on the low rpms to the high rpms the car starts to cut out...to boost is low ,1.5 ob and 1.0 ct(?)
ive been hearing alot of this custom tune of late.seems people have found the ability to fiddle with the actual vw programme.aparently in china there are alot of "tuners" who do this springing up everywhere.
