Hi all,
I'm considering doing a run of custom made TIP's soon and was wondering if anyone was interested in one.
The OEM or even Forge silicone TIP won't allow for either the larger 3" O.D. MAF housing or the Turbo Inlet itself being larger than the standard Ko3s. So if your considering a Stage III Hybrid upgrade you are going to have find an alternative. *Please note Frankenturbo will not be able to supply you with a TIP that will fit the Polo. I have searched high and low and no such animals exists on the current market.

So after Gav worked some magic with some random parts seen below we have decided to come up with a more robust solution.

The custom TIP will consist of a 15 piece kit.
1 x Silicone bend to fit any size Hybrid turbo (please specify turbo inlet O.D.)
1 x 3" Aluminium "L" pipe with all OEM outlets and nipples professionally welded in stock positions for all ancillaries (Alloy)
4 x Various sized silicone hose pieces to fit over alloy outlets
1 x Silicone coupler to fit a 3" MAF housing
8 x heavy duty hose clamps
As you can see from the pictures above having the TIP mostly 3" in diameter from the MAF carries with it great flow advantages over the OEM and Forge TIP's as well as a OEM fitment.
Total cost would be around the $250 mark.
What are your thoughts?
