It'd be nice for manual stop start in traffic (even better if it could be used as a kill switch too but it doesn't do that).

Using scotchlocks isnt a quality fitting for a start Most unreliable way to join wires known to man.

Secondly the models that have stop start technology have upgraded starter motors to allow for this so might be hard on anything else

awesome, so you still have to turn the key and press button to start instead of turning the key all the way... so actually slower than just using the key
