  • adjustable rear swaybar for tdi polo

    Hi

For an otherwise stock tdi polo, which setting of a 20mm whiteline adjustable sway bar would be recommended?

would it be likely that the car would start handling unpredictably in wet weather if it went up to 'hard', say? or is a 20mm bar not likely to make that much of a difference? certainly on 'soft' it makes for a huge improvement compared to no bar at all (stock).

For road use the standard setting of 20mm would be best on a Polo as you describe.Stiffer settings really only applicable to GTI's with track use.
    Cheers

would the rear tend to slide out even on the medium setting on liftoff mid-corner?

The GTI does a little in hard cornering, couldn't say for sure for a TDI.

I installed and left it on Medium. I've seen what hard settings can do to MINI's without an experienced driver, guy rolled his car off the side of Alpine way.
