Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

      Loving the wheels !!! look like massive tyres though, werent you the guy who got the wrong tyres put on (dealers mistake)???

            That is correct. They are changing them tomorrow morning. They are currently 225/40 and they've ordered 205/40 in which is as close to stock circumference that it can get really. I went for the PP2s, which I think you had suggested as well

                Hmmm, those specs sound familiar - enjoy keeping it clean.

                Nice choice on the rims bud, but those tyres are a classic .

                P.S. I'd whip the rims off soon and apply some wheel wax - you'll know why when you go to clean them for the first time (very, VERY time consuming).

                      looks great with the new wheels.... i was going to get a white one with those wheels.

                      with lower profile tyres they look heaps better, so you will love it! see pic below
