Or were you thinking of changing code to another brand?

As for OEM parts, you should get good brands, but importing yourself will be much cheaper. Gav's just bought all that junk for his Polo, he might be nice enough to share part / supplier details.
A combination of ECS for the clutch and some consumables, like gaskets/copper washers/gates racing timing belt. Then I went through Mike Hood at Ringer Racing for rod install kit.

I have tunes to code out SAI and N249 when deleted.

So I went to clean the maf and decided to remove both of the tubes coming off the SAI pump, the whole dam thing was full of water O.o
I pumped the water out, and this morning on cold start the car ran like a dog... Mind you car is fine once heated up, typical diagnosis of SAI issues according to the 1 million other threads.

I've got the car booked in for a timing belt change in june so i might try get the pro's to deal with it :/

I'd disconnect the electrical connection for the pump, you don't want to be pumping water into your airbox, etc.

Consider paying to get it coded out or buy a second hand one or (both cheaper than buying a new one that is largely pointless).

Yep, I think I'll get it coded out but leave the system in, supposedly only 250 bucks. I disconnected the connection after it splutted cos i figured it was not salvageable.

Thanks for the help guys. Will probably delete at a later date as well.
