and guess what the quote was? $109.69 A PIECE, and I need 6 peices for me 4 doors
so it's $658.14 for me excluding shipping cost from Europe
and I believe that the part+shipping should be way cheaper than that

so here is my question
anyone here know any Euro VW dealer ships to Aus?
BTW I might buy more stuff in the future

had a bad experience with Oriental Parts, don't want to deal with them anymore
but they don't have the parts anyway

the parts are pricey, and they didn't even quote me for the fright which would take 3 to 4 weeks as they said

for other VWs, I used to service in Osborne Park, the parts aren't cheap
VW Commercial Center don't deal with passenger vehicles
I think this is all we have in Perth?

Why would they be quoting you freight?

Is the dealership delivering them to your doorstep?

PM me the part numbers if you like. I'll see what I can come up with at my local dealership. Maybe there'll be a difference in the total price, even if it's trade price + sending them from here to you.

Yeah I remember getting a price from my local VW and it was around $70 each... or $90, I can't recall. Either way, ridiculous.

I'd be surprised if a VW dealer would charge freight on top though. Did they say that?

If you google OEM VW parts - do any of them look OK?

If you give me the part numbers I can see what price I can get them for from the UK - My dad's coming over this week, he could bring them over and I'll post them locally to Perth.
