Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Forge FMIC size?

    Hi All

    Im trying to find the size of the Forge FMIC for the Polo GTI and searched the web and forges site but cannot find it anywhere, does anyone know?

    I would approximate at 700 x 300. Bflat recently received my old one, maybe he can provide some detail.

      oh just chatting to my mate about my soon to be new purchase which has one on and he asked the size, as he is doing his scooby up and wanted to compare.

        I could have a look at mine tonight if you'd like. Check the 'what did you do to your polo' thread and the second last page has pictures documenting my install with a comparo pic of it next to the stock SMIC

          yeah i saw that bflat and emailed the link to my friend to show him, he thinks its a pretty damn big IC, maybe bigger than his scooby one but just wanted to confirm the size but it seems like its secret squirrel stuff on the internet, cant find it anywhere!
