Delivered with headlight protectors, Fr & Rear carpet mats, Fr & Rear mudflaps. Kylie (Solitaire) also provided us with a full tank of fuel.

First thing tomorrow, I must buy some Nulon oil conditioner and change the oil & filter.

I'm going to use Shell Helix Ultra 5W something. I was using Nulon 10W something ing the Mk III Golf, but I think the twin cam 16V needs a thinner oil.

Then starts the DETAILING, with the toothbrush! We are thinking of taking it to Sydney for the Bug-In, then our DOVW at Glenelg April 6th and then it would be nice to do the Nationals.

I don't think it is as "lively" as the Mk III 1.8L Golf, but I think it will do better milage.

We were treated very fairly at Solitaire, not many places give you a full tank of fuel! I would recommend them to any one looking at a late model Volkswagen!
