It does look great. Best non-stock wheels I've seen on a Polo. Really love them. Nice work.

Dude that is exactly the kind of OEM+ look and stance I want with my car, looks excellent.
What are the specs of the wheels and adapters?

      • Hey, thanks guys. The wheels are 18x8 with a +35 offset, and are an absolutely perfect fit. They are replicas made by Ronel in 5x100, so no adaptors needed. I picked them up off one of the boys off the forum, who bought them off Peedman, who got them off some guy in Melbourne off eBay... I believe they are one of the only sets in that stud pattern in Australia.

Yeah, very true... I would love them, but I can't justify the cost plus engineering for Porsche brakes. Legally, Polo's can go to the R32 brakes without engineering as these were fitted to the Polo Cup standard.
I'm pretty much done with mods for my one.... The next mods will be getting the bonnet done in black again, an coilovers.

Yeah, they are 312mm rotors with twin piston calipers if I remember correctly... I remember looking it up on the VW servicing site when I was at Guys place last month.

R32 brakes are bigger than 312mm, 312mm is S3/TT with single piston, R32 was like 334 with dual pistons

                      • Well they would be 334mm brakes then... They were definately 2 piston calipers... I'm trying to look it up now, but having no luck... When I was at the workshop, we were talking about the plusses of having these brakes fitted as they would have no need for engineering due to the standard figment on the Cup model. I'll post a like iff I can find it.

                        • Well, I look like a dag. Found pics of the Cup, and they look like 312mm single pots, so I was wrong about the twin pots... Ahh well...
