The next few days are going to be like hell. Sleepless hot sweats, and you'll keep having that same dream of you pulling out of your drive way and then going for a fang in it (I know you've already had it). If you think it's bad now, wait until the day before delivery. It is the worst torture I have ever experienced.

What year model is the beep beep (slang for a barina)? Is it a GSI or a SRI? Where have you got it listed? What are the specs? You speaking with a bunch of car nuts here and probably one of the best mediums to be able to help you sell your car quick!

If it is one of the above models - they are a fun little car and usualy sell like hot cakes. Have you tried to list it on www.opelaus.com or any of the other forums? Car sales or drive.com will only get you limited coverage. Advertising it on forums will see you getting alot more hits on your beep beep. Just make sure you post a link to where ever it happens to be for sale. To gain extra interest, offer the members of the forum a small discount ($500 should do the trick and say it's specially for them if they mention what forum they are from).

Just a few hints and tips to help with your speedy sale.

unfortunately my beep beep is a 01 XC (1.4L, 5 spd manual) so nothing special.. hes served me well these past 4 years that ive had him. At the moment im trying to sell it for 8k, thats the avg price on carsales.com that most ppl are selling the same model for with similar k's if not more than what mines at (67,000km)

I didnt even think to try sell it on a specialised forum, thats a great idea. I've also circulated an email to my whole contact list and told them to do the same thing so hopefully that'll help too..

I dont know if im being a tad over zealous with the 8k pricing - the car is in awesome condition and its kinda sad having to part with a car when theres nothing wrong with it :/ well other than it not being a polo gti LOL

Im definitely going to have a look at opelaus.com and try sell it there..

Thanks Dave. Haven't driven it too much at all - still haven't hit 3 figures in KM haha! Going for a drive tonight, maybe down the coast - if anyone else is keen.....
