Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Pm Flaps as i think his polo has some.
From what i know the strut tops are covered so adjustment may be ver time consuming.Comment

OK.Spent a couple of days at K-Mac.Got a set of Camber/caster strut tops made.They thought they were the same as Golf MkV......
After convincing them they ain't,they made some up for the Polo.
After a few teething problems,I ran them at Eastern Creek on Friday arvo/night.
So far so good.Achieved good camber and caster adjustability,with no problems so far.Handling is better,with less understeer and very good stability.
Thought there could be a problem with the rear on lift off or bumps with the rear bar on full stiffness and the extra front end grip,but this wasn't the case.If there was to be it would show on the faster corners,and there ain't much faster than Turn one at EC.
Even when provoked[accidentally]rear grip and stability were excellent.
Kevin McIntyre is the man to speak to if you're interested in them.
A good mod that allows lots of range in setting up the car the way you want.

Good going Len. Curious to know how you access the adjuster, given how restricted access to the strut is (any pics?). Any further info on settings and what works best, installation/price be great too.Comment

Sounds fiddly but my suspension guy didn't have any problems with it.
Currently have-2degrees camber,+7degrees caster,and 2mm toe out.
Can easily run -3degrees with semis,but not too much room with the top of the coils from the inner guard.
It's a good starting point,and I'm not sure any other setting would be better.
Has good turn in and grip,is very predictable,and virtually no lift off oversteer at high speed.[-ESP off]
They retail for around $440 plus fitting and alignment.

Another little problem is if you have adjustable front shocks that adjust at the top.Because of the different construction of the adjustable top mount,the top of the shock is 20mm or so lower in the tower.The adjuster on the Konis I have was nearly flush with the hole in the tower.With the new mounts my adjuster wouldn't reach far enough into the hole,so we made up a new one.
Not a problem with non adjustable shocks but something to be aware of.Comment
