Tips for changing disks.

I am installing a few different parts this weekend getting ready for the turbo upgrade.

Front and rear disks and pads are being done.
Are the rear disks any hassle to take off or are they similiar to the front. Just concerned with the handbrake setup.

I saw a thread on changing front disks but can't seem to find it now. A link to it would be appreciated.
Any special tools that I should have.

No special tools needed, just a lump of wood and a hammer to get the disks off...

I think the rear process must be different as I've been quoted more to do the rear than the fronts. I'm also due to do the rear so any input would be greatly appreciated.

Jack car, remove wheels, undo caliper, using lever, disengage handbrake wire, undo disc screw, pull off disc, put on disc, put disc screw in, remove pads, wind back piston in caliper, fit pads, fit handbrake, fit caliper, bolt caliper, fit wheel, lower car.

It really is that simple

Cheers Gavs, have you done a 9N3? Yeah I was uncertain how the rear can be more work than the front, apart from hand brake cable.

Mk4 golf and 6R polo and aside from the hand brake fitting, they're all pretty much identical.
