  • Interchangeable Parts Register... Or "what we can pinch from other makes!"

    Hi All,

Bit of a newbie here, but something that I've found very handy on other forums I've been on is the inclusion of a separate register where you can refer to what parts are interchangeable from other cars, sometimes making it easier to save on parts.

I thought it might be a good idea to set one up (for items we're 100% sure about) and possibly get it stickied in order to make finding the info a little bit easier for newcomers.

If you know that it's an upgrade or fixes something else, just note that beside your post.

I'll start with what I know and update as other users add in their knowledge:

    - Seat PD160 Intake (Upgrade)

    - Seat FMIC (Aftermarket Upgrade)

Jmac: The Seat cooler does fit and proven to and does need seat diesel piping and a LOT of fettling and removal of lots of plastic, rerouting map wiring etc.

    - Audi TT Brake Calipers + Rotors (Upgrade)

FWD TT has 288mm and the quattro bigger HP has 312mm.

    - 2003 Ford Mondeo Droplinks (Works as a fix for lowered Polos)

    - ECS Tuning Spark Plug hold downs (Works on most 1.8T engines, inc. 9N3 GTIs)

    - Audi RS6 Diverter Valve

    - Edition 30 Golf MKV steering

If you want to make it a sticky and get lots of info, you need to to accurate.

I believe the front Audi TT brakes are comparable from the fwd versions, unsure about the Quattro version and rear brake compatibility.

The Seat intercooler fits, but needs custom piping as its from a Diesel.

Yep accurate does help, the FWD TT has 288mm and the quattro bigger HP has 312mm. The Seat cooler does fit and proven to and does need seat diesel piping and a LOT of fettling and removal of lots of plastic, rerouting map wiring etc.
