Does any one know what diameter vacuum pipe I need to buy for use between diverter and inlet manifold...
Does it make a difference if I get a larger diameter pipe.

Don't use larger diameter, in theory if you think about it, it will take longer to open the DV. More volume to evacuate when you come off the throttle.

I think I use 3 or 4mm silicon. The 3 will stretch enough to fit the nipples and 4mm isn't so big that it falls off either. In a local speed shop they sold it by the metre. In the past I have bought several metres at a time off ebay.
