S2000 is a FIA formula series, with a standard 2L N/A max engine size, and 4WD for the rally series -- see wikipedia. According to this, it's a "silhouette" series -- the engine/drivetrain is controlled from a limited number of manufacturers. I'm not sure the NA 2L engine in the Polo S2000 is even a VAG product. Anyone know?

Yep it is VAG (or at least started off as original 2L block).
