Custom downpipe query

HI Guys,

While on my crusade for a good 3" DP, jasonc23 suggesed the muffler man. He has a 3" dump with 100cell cat.
So before looking into this:

1. has anyone else had any experiance with the muffler man, and
2. What i you opinion with regard to customer dp's vs. ready made suchas miltek/apr etc...

i too am keen on answers to this crusade. I'm keen to go in on any group buys or whatever to get the costs down. also prefer and happy to go with a mild steel downie.

Custom is just as good or can be better then production line goods!
Just find a GOOD trusted fabricator

i will be selling some 3" systems that will be custom Soon

Haven't been yet, keep on meaning too...I have heard of approx 1k fitted...will give them a call on Monday and will update y`all

at about 1k, most performance exhaust places can hook you up with a custom ss down pipe with cat for that. lets hope flying gti has some good news soon!

Trusted place. Yes, mild steel. Did a full 3in Turbo back on my workmates Hilux Surf for $660.

Went to go speak to the"muffler man" . Seems a very decent guy. He explained to me how cats flow etc, and can do a custom 3" dp with cat for approx 800 fitted....booking it in next week
