OK, so i may seem a bit dumb with this post but i know the vibration is deff caused by the Air Con.
I was in a carpark and started the car put AC on and left it to cool down while chatting to someone. After about 7-8mins i got in and the Air con despite being on 18deg and full blast was still blowing out hot air.
As soon as i touched the loud pedal and made it idle @ 1100rpm (approx) the cold air came thru and the vibration stopped.
Is this an imbalance that was mentioned or is the compressor stuffed?

I think it is an A/C issue... Nothing to do with the bush.

Sounds like your a/c compressor clutch did not engage. Revving the engine probably shook it and got it engaged. I wouldn't worry about it unless it keeps happening.

Digging up an old thread. I think I'm just used to the vibrations now with the insert. It's definitely still noticeable after 2 years, but I guess I've learnt to live with it. With that said, I don't think I'll be making the mount more stiff, although I did recently see that Vibra Technics have a replacement mount, not just the insert. I doubt I'd go down that path, but would be interested to hear if anyone has tried the mount and what their experiences are.

              Hoyhoy.

Me got & its in along with their engine mounts, only had one drive so far, little bit extra of vibration but not as much as I thought there would be.
I found that the small bush in the standard set up wasn't doing to well.

P.S. A few other little goodys went in as well, feels real good.
At Wakfield Park again at the end of the month to test her out.

i got the vibratechnics dogbone, been using since March. the vibration were quite noticeable, but it settled down to an acceptable level after a week of bedding in.

got a lady friend riding with me, she didn't complain of any excessive vibration, so it can either mean the vibration is not as bad as people might think, or she's enjoying the extra vibration lol. seriously though, no complains from anyone, boys and girls alike.

                  Digging up another old thread...

Is the Vibra Technics mount that you guys got the VAG200M or the VAG220M? Their site only lists stuff for the 9N and not the 9N3 (plus the Polo product links don't seem to work).

And did you fit the VAG210M on the other side?

Not really conclusive, but this ebay listing gives the impression that they are going to be the same: Link here

                    • Ah, so it's the VAG220M.

                      Thanks for that!
