Do what you prefer, it's your car. Personally I never use the aircon unless it's 35+. I can't stand the extra lag when driving with A/C.

I have never had the problem, and I drive around with the A/C on all the time(Just drove from Darwin to Townsville after spending the last 12 months in Darwin).
If it has/dose done, I have never noticed it(I have had the APR mount in for 5 months now).

Driving if fine with A/C one, but when the time you stop at traffic, it is really suck, the vibration becomes a lot stronger than before, can't you notice it?

No, not really. I only really notice it first thing in the morning when the engine is cold at idle. once it is warm, she is all apples...

I've had mine since March and it's hardly any different at idle compared to when it was stock. Mine's not even any different cold.

Take it back to your APR dealer and get it checked.

I'm about to do this to my Pog and everyone is saying more positive things with this mod. Hopefully If done right I shouldn't run into the same issues that some people are having.

Due to the idle increasing slightly with the A/C on. You should be able to raise or lower the idle with VCDS to combat that.

No adaption channel or login channel available for the idle adjustment, however you can do it with Unitronics software and your VCDS cable.

If you have a VAG-COM lead and ME7 ECU, Polo GTI for example. You can do useful stuff with this utility. You use it entirely at your own risk. Having said that it does warn you if it thinks you are going too far with some changes. Heed these warnings!!!!!!

ignition on and cable connected to the car and laptop, read the ECU, make changes and then write to the ECU. Follow any prompts I have missed out.

                        *free bump*

so after a 12 month break in this thread, are everyones opinion on the dogbone mount still good?

thinking of getting it soon, but getting mixed opinions on the whole vibrating issue, its almost like different dealers fitting it differently??? hence some of you not having an issue at all, where as it sounds like some of you could have your missus in the car making milkshakes just when the car is idle

No dramas with vibration and have had it since late last year or early this year.

I have had it for 2.5 years now... After the DV and RSB, it was my 3rd mod. As for the vibration, I just wind down the window and turn the A/C off. After living in Darwin and Townsville, down south isn't hot enough to use the A/C.
