^ Try get it down to around $27k-$28k, if they won't budge then go back to the original dealer and say if they can get it down below $29,500 which another dealer quoted then they've got a sale...Comment

So im just about there...got it around $28 mark.....signing lease docs hopefully today...should have the car relatively soon...wooohoooo!!!!
This means the Mk2 will be going off the road as well...for a BIG ongoing project...but ill post something in the appropriate section

Grats! Did you end up getting leather? Can HIGHLY recommend this. Mine also has sunroof but I reckon the leather option really transforms the interior.
