Ive had my polo tdi for 18months now.I had a dp chip fitted and a remus exhaust fitted.WOW.Id love to do a performance test with a GTI.Having 290nm of torque at 1900rpm i cant keep the thing on the road.I did a rolling start drag with a v8 falcon ute and was surprised how much i left him for dead.At full throttle my poor left hand front wheel brakes traction in first ,second, and third gear.I wish i had traction control.

I've heard good things about the Remus - it's certainly something I'll probably look at in the future if I ever put a hole in the stock exhaust (something that's unfortunately quite easy to do if you ever end up off sealed surfaces, no matter how carefully you drive).Originally posted by dammfool View PostIve had my polo tdi for 18months now.I had a dp chip fitted and a remus exhaust fitted.
Where in Sydney stocks the Remus exhausts? I've only ever found the number/address of the Melbourne stockist when I've looked it up.

Getting an exhaust is something that keeps popping into my head...
Only problem is that they are soo dear, i can imagine remus would be a good thousand dollars at least.. and thats probably for a muffler and about half a meter of pipe.GTI. Leather.

Remus muffler is not too expensive.
The rear section (which would enhance sound, and possibly release extra couple of HP) will cost around $600NZ fitted.
I haven't done one myself yet, but something I am thinking of also.
I do not want to spend $2500-$3000 for full Miltek system... too expensive and I heard some negative things about them as well.06 Polo GTI - REVO Stage 2 = 140kw @ wheels.
06 Golf GTI - Bluefin Stage 1 blacked out with ED30 theme, leather, xenon, etc.
