Little from column A, little from column B But was much better on the handbrake, warning when people go to do this, my plastic cap on the end of the handbrake kept coming off so I left it off for the day. I don't think I was flicking enough.

Tell you a good trick which works an absolute treat. Buy some Duct Tape and pull a 20 cent peice out of your wallet and tape the button in. Works really well, helped me win the last motorkhana i entered.

That's a great idea. So you put the 20c piece over the button and tape it down so it's up and down much easier. Thanks heaps.

cheers mate, yeah i really like the lights, im going to fix up the spotties soon and put Crystal visions in them as well which should top it off. There are plenty of other ideas that i have for this car, but i just dont have the money to put into action just yet

No worries mate, turn the esp off too if you already havent done so. The last motorkhana i did was with the XR club of Victoria (brother is part of it with his typhoon) up at Deca in Shepparton, and happy to say i was the overall winner by a fair distance

Welcome to the forum, xposdu. If you don't mind me asking ... how much are the Crystal visions?

Thanks DaveMack, yeah the Phillips crystal Visions are expensive, For the headlight and high beams, it set me back $180 which includes the parkers. I wanted the Diamond Visions but they arent ADR approved like the Crystals. I didnt get the spotties cause i have to replace the spotty itself, but i expect to pay $80-90 for the pair. You can pick them up at any repco,Autobarn or Bursons.

Yeah the ESP goes off, except if I forget to Clutch in after a spin and forget to keep turning it off I would imagine you'd have a massive advantage over the XR's.

Probably a good thing you didn't Alex. Just think of the bux you'd have to spend to make your comparable.

Your not wrong, i was 3.5 seconds faster in almost every run they did. The only time i was beaten was on the back track (more power bias) and even then i was only 1 second off the top time set by my brother. I was pretty happy considering it was my first event. lol at forgetting to turn the ESP off, i did that a couple of times during that day, lucky my mate who was in the car kept reminding me to turn it off
