Has anyone thought of or have put racing stripes on their Polo - ala Ford Fiesta ST/XR4? Anyone skilled in photo shop can produce an image of what it would look like for red stripes on white polo?

I think it might look decent if done with the right colours.
I've superimposed Shadow Blue stripes on a red polo in the attachment - I'm not a great Photoshop operator, but it gives you an idea.Comment

Here's my attempt at it.
The appearance changes dramatically depending on :
The width of the stripes
The space between the stripes.
A Fiesta XR4 has thick stripes close together, whereas Minis tend to have thin stripes spaced further apart. I'm not sure what would look best on a Polo…Comment

what would look awesome as well would be silver stripes on a shadow blue car - ive seen one like that and it looks awesome - didnt have a camera handy to take a pic but the stripes were on the left of the car and it was one thick stripe and one thin stripe - and it looked totally superb (maybe cos it was so professionally done
will look for that car again and see if i can snap a few pics - but its going to be difficult cos i just saw it randomly parked in a parking lotComment

just saw a red polo gti with volkswagen gti written on the side of it with white racing stripes from back to bonnet.....spotted on james ruse drive.. anyone know whose it belong to >?Comment

I know of a MINI with a carbon fibre bonnet and had it painted except they left the usual MINI bonnet stripes bare. I'd love to do the same with my GTI, except leave the middle unpainted and add the red pin strips following from the grille.
