Yeah I just found some in the UK for about $60 more than the Weitec Hicon GT's, haven't seen them before though.

I'm still sitting on the fence with FK's vs Other Coils - I've heard great things about FK's but I think I'm put off by their good value! There has to be something wrong with them? Well obviously not - but I thought $200 to buy some Weitec's wasn't bad value either :/ screw it might just join the FK crowd haha.

FK's are rebuildable. So who cares, get some highsports or silverlines. If the FK insert dies, put some Koni inserts in the things. Solved!

        .

They have been around for ages

I had non stainless KW V2's in my Vr6 and that was about 5 years ago. So when I get my V3's it means I would have had V1's V2's and V3's lol
        MODS- TOO MANY

I figured since I won't be going anywhere near the snow with salt treated roads etc, I ordered the non stainless kw V1's. I believe Weitecs and STS are all from KW? Anyway, everyone is allowed their opinions and choices of coilovers. Just like the great tuning wars of 2011 here.

don't quote me on it, but you should be able to, unless the FK' body has some weird sizing which wont fit any other brand of insert. As for Koni inserts, I have no idea!

You would have to speak to FK direct in order to get these answers mate

You should hitch a ride on someone's Polo with FKs of the type you're looking for before thinking about alternative spring rates.

If you do want to go to a heavier spring, then the KonigSports or SilverLineX series are the ones you'd want so that the rebound could be increased to suit the higher spring rate. (You could get the SilverLine series dampers revalved but that'd be a lot of ar$ing about)

Agreed, and thanks for the input. I probably am jumping the gun, seeing as i have never felt FK's. The only experience i have are Jap coilovers in Skylines/Supras... which iv'e had to order heavier springs for coz i'm a level corner/rear out sort of idiot, compromising comfort... but thats what youth is for right

Hopefully i can get some more help on what coilies to get on a meet coming up soon. Compression and Rebound adjustable would be great... hehe. But then the eternal, cost/budget equation... answer?... earn more money
