I know where you're coming from, but my thinking is it'll look a bit naff, and as it stands at the moment, the old pair will get chewed out quicker and I'll be forced to buy another couple of 50s

Ya got the whole weekend to play, swap em over, go for a good run, then swap em back, but I think that you may not do that.
