No it dosen't, you need one for a Polo
Which leaves you with the options of APR, Miltek and a few othersMODS- TOO MANY -
or get one custom made

Most definitely. The burble I have on mine after the APR dp was installed is addictive. The dump noise when winding it out is also quite satisfying. The good thing is the stock rear end of the GTI is quite competent and as such isn't as prone to droning as other cars with modified exhausts.

Not sure what modifications this guy has, but the burble Bflat is speaking of is definitely there. Hell, it even sounds like a lion, lol.

Mine is turbo - where cat was - 3"
from cat to the rear resonator which is deleted is 2.5"
then from to muffler 2.25"
I could go 2.5" all the way, but at the moment my car feels great with enough torque lower down, and great power higher up.
With REVO - the boost peaks at 25psi then slowly tails off at higher RPM.
Oh yeah - I have removed my cat 2 weeks ago - yes it is a little smelly, but sounds awesome with stock muffler and goes like stink. And no - it's not illegal in NZ currently.06 Polo GTI - REVO Stage 2 = 140kw @ wheels.

I'm running on custom 2.5" catless downpipe fabricated by my local exhaust shop. In order to avoid CEL, my mechanic did fabricated an 'extension' so that the secondary o2 sensor placed an inch higher than original position. And of course a lot cheaper too
